Actresses-turned singers Priyanka Chopra, Monica Dogra and three other Indian artists have been nominated by VH1 channel for the 2015 Europe Music Awards under the 'Best India Act' category.
The category, which is a sub-category of the Worldwide Act is a global classification where the best talent is picked from across continents. Fans decide the best winning talent from among all the nominees through votes, read a statement.
The other Indian acts to be nominated for the award are Indus Creed, Your Chin and The Ska Vengers.
Fans can vote for their favourite act on MTV EMA's website and can cast their votes till October 14.
In the next stage of voting, the local winner under Best India Act goes head to head with winners from regions across the world to become one of the six Worldwide Act winners.
