West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has published a notification for the recruitment of 72 Principal, Head Master, Senior Scientific Officer (Foot Print Section), Assistant Engineer (Agri Mechanical), Assistant Botanist and System Analyst vacancies on temporary and permanent basis. Candidates may apply online from 11-05-2015 at 11:00 AM onwards to 25-05-2015.

6. Assistant Botanist: 02 Posts

Age Limit:
Candidates age should not be below 40 years & above 55 years for S.No- 1 & 2, below 45 years for S.No- 3, more than 35 years for S.No- 4, 6 & 7 and 32 years for S.No- 5 as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per rule.
Qualification:
Candidates should possess Master's Degree with at least 55% marks from recognized University with relevant disciplines for Principal post, Second class Master’s Degree with Honours Degree of an Indian University or equivalent for Head Master post. For more information refer notification. Candidates should have relevant experience.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination, screening test and interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 210/- + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- for online payment through debit/ credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt Duty or Service Charge of Rs. 5/- for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment). SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. No Exemption of Fee is Available to SC/ ST/ BC Candidates of Other States.
